Bhavana, who had an impressive
debut in Kollywood in Mysskin’s
Chithiram Pesudadi went on to do
many films with leading heroes in
Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. She
was last seen in Jayamkondan with
Vinay after which there appears
to have been a dry spell in her
Kollywood career. This lull has
been broken by her current prestigious
venture Asal with Ultimate Star
Ajith where she plays the leading
lady along with Sameera Reddy.
However there have been widespread
theories that Bhavana is not the
actual heroine in Asal and her role
is not as meaty as Sameera’s.
While clearing the air on this issue,
this petite actress said, “People
are even wondering how I accepted
this role because they think that
I am only the second heroine. But
it is not so. There are two heroines
in the film and I am one of them.”
Bhavana further added that she has
two duets with Ajith. This should
certainly put to rest any ambiguity
related to the heroine issue of
Asal.
