Noted cinematographer and director
Santosh Sivan will don the greasepaint
for the first time. He had been
roped in to play the noted painter
Raja Ravi Varma in the Malayalam
film Makara Manju. The film, which
will go on floors in a couple of
weeks, will be directed by Lenin
Rajendran.
On his acting assignment, Sivan
states, “It was Lenin who
approached me with the amusing idea
of playing Raja Ravi Varma, the
world renowned painter.”
