Korean multiplexes to run in Indian technology

Real Image Media Technologies, India’s leading provider of technology in the film, video and audio domains has announced in a press release that the South Korea based D-Cinema Korea, the largest digital transition firm in Korea, has chosen its Qube XP-D as one of the official digital cinema servers for their 1,000 screen rollout across Korea. The technology was tested in Korea and was certified by DCK.

The press release also states that the technology is also part of the digitization plans of some of the biggest theatrical chains the world over, like Odeon/UCI in Europe, DCN in Australia, Ster-Kinekor in South Africa, Phoenix Adlabs and Landmark Theaters in the US.
