Why Jayam Raja and Vijay prefer this musician?

Only recently producer Udayanidhi Stalin mentioned in an interview that Vijay is keen on working with him for his 51st film. However, now it looks like Aascar Ravichandran has signed up the Ilayathalapathi for the same, which will be directed by Jayam Raja.

While this being so, there was also yet another buzz that music director Dharan might be the man wielding the music baton. To substantiate this, Vijay in a recent audio launch, said that he preferred to work with Dharan. In the same audio launch, Jayam Raja’s brother Jayam Ravi also mentioned that his brother is keen on signing up Dharan for one of the future ventures.
