Gautham’s reply to Harris

Gautham Menon appears to be a very calm man. While responding to media reports that Vaaranam Aayiram has not risen up to the mark, the director said, “One cannot judge the result of a film with just three days of screening. The initial draw will be from the age group of 18 to 23. The family audience will start viewing only after a week or so and that’s when

one will know the actual result”. He also said that he and Suriya have been receiving congratulatory messages from numerous fathers and sons. “Many directors like Lingu Samy, Vasanth, Balaji Shakthivel, Simbu Devan, Priyadarshan, Ameer and K V Anand have appreciated VA,” said Gautham.

When quizzed about the recent split between him and Harris, he stated that he was shocked to hear the news and like anybody else, he also received an email stating about the split. “I do not know the actual reasons and Harris has not discussed these things with me”, Gautham added.
