Vijay fans protest

Voices in support of the alleged genocide in Sri Lanka against the ethnic Tamil minority are growing day by day in the film fraternity. After the protests and procession by directors in Rameswaram, one-day fast by Nadigar Sangam members, human chain by all parties, fast by FEFSI members, and the fast organized by fans of popular actors,

fan clubs of actor Vijay have seem to decide to conduct a similar exercise on November 16, 2008.

The one-day fast and protest will be held near the Chepauk Guest House in Chennai on November 16th as per an official release. The fan club members earlier met the Chennai Police Commissioner Sekhar to submit a petition requesting for permission and as per latest news, police officials have given a go ahead.
