It was a red letter day for Asai Thambi.
The winner of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (OKOK)
contest organised by Behindwoods.com could
not have asked for more. A movie buff
and ardent fan of Santhanam had designed
a memorabilia for his fav actor with a
picture of him and a message showcasing
his affection and mentioning the
punch word, nanbenda… As
Santhanam could not make it to the screening
of OKOK due to his hectic schedule, Asai
Thambi has been waiting for the right
opportunity to meet the actor and present
his gift. The occasion came recently as
Santhanam was shooting in Binni
Mills for Settai, the remake of Delly
Belly. When Behindwoods contacted the
actor, he was more than willing to meet
his fan and give him a photo opportunity
amidst his busy schedule.
The actor met his fan in his caravan and
interacted with him and even posed for
photos in different poses, while Behindwoods
photographer and videographer captured
the moments.
Santhanam carefully read out the message
and appreciated Asai Thambi for the
gift. An elated Asai Thambi had no words
to express his happiness. “I never
thought my dream will come true. I am
so happy and thankful to Santhanam and
Behindwoods for the opportunity and this
day I will cherish forever in my life,”
he said. Behindwoods too thank the
actor for his kind gesture.
