Seeman’s organization Naam Tamilar Iyakkam
will be formally launched into a political party.
The director announced it recently and mentioned
that the formal launch of the party will happen
in the conference to be held in Madurai on May
18. Seeman also stated that this is a politically
significant event and that his party’s
priority will be to fight for the rights of
the internally displaced Tamils in the island
nation.
The conference date May 18 gains significance
since that was the day that marked the end to
the war in Sri Lanka.
