Rahman convened a press meet at the Chennai
Press Club just before the release event of
the anthem that he composed for the forthcoming
World Classical Tamil Conference to be held
in Coimbatore in June. He revealed that he had
to squeeze the composition of this anthem between
his tight schedules. “But I’m happy
with the outcome,” he further added.
The anthem is sung by as many as 30 singers,
significant of them including the legendary
TMS, Yuvan Shankar Raja, G V Prakash, Shruti
Hassan, Naresh Iyer and Chinmayi. Recording
of the song and shooting of the video were done
recently. It’s also revealed in the press
meet that the song starts with TMS voice. |
