Initially
it was Madhavan, who was signed up to dub for
Vikram in the Hindi version of Raavan. However,
the actor’s exemplary performance while
dubbing for the Telugu version made director
Mani Ratnam reconsider his decision. Finally,
Vikram was asked to lend his voice for the Hindi
version too.
Yet another version doing rounds in Kollywood
is that the film unit expects Raavan to lap
up some of the awards this year. And one of
the strong contenders for the award is Vikram.
Not wanting to miss out on the award for just
not lending his voice, Vikram took over the
mantle to dub, we hear.
