Raghava Lawrence seeks Rajini's permission

After reaping success with his latest flick Sandai in all the three centers - A, B, and C – director Shakthi Chidambaram is now gearing up for his next venture with Raghava Lawrence. Shakthi, also the producer of this film, has yet another project titled Idi, with Sundar C in the pipeline. Interestingly, Lawrence's project has been named Rajathi

Raja, which happens to be the title of the yesteryear Rajinikanth blockbuster. Industry sources have it that Lawrence had personally met Rajini to obtain his permission to use the title and also to get his blessings. Rajini not only permitted him to use the title but also said that his blessings are always with him. By the time both these projects are complete, Shakthi should be able to start off with the Simbu starrer for which discussions are already on.
