Surya's director beaten up

Krishna, director of the Surya-Jyothika starrer Sillunu Oru Kadhal, is currently engaged with Yen Ippadi Mayakkinai. Rishi, Keerath and Gayathri play the lead role in this film. The shooting of this film, which was progressing in Frazer Town, Bangalore, amidst tight police security, came to a grinding halt when some miscreants entered the

shooting spot shouting slogans to vacate the place. When Krishna insisted that they were shooting with prior permission he was beaten up. According to the director, the police also joined the troublemakers and indulged in vandalism. He said that the camera and other gadgets were taken away by the hooligans. The shooting was actually taking place in the Holy Ghost College campus where a song sequence involving the hero, heroine and about 50 supporting actresses was being shot.
