One man army

Tamil cinema is certainly growing by leaps and bounds as innovative methods of film making are being tried and are well received too. This trend has encouraged film makers to foray into areas unexplored hitherto. As a testimony to this emerging movement, director Chinna is making a film with just one character. The film titled ‘Kadaisi Nimidam’ is touted to

be a thriller to be produced by Sri Thrilok Films with a debutant Sridhar as the lone character. Earlier on, in Iruvar Mattum, there were two characters but this is the first time a film will be made with just one person.

An army officer takes a chartered flight to see his ailing child and his plane is involved in a crash and falls inside a thick jungle. The army officer escapes miraculously and tries to get out of the forest but an invisible power prevents him from getting out of the jungle. The film is all about how he counters this power. Music will be scored by Mani Sharma while cinematography will be handled by Amar.
