Vasantha Balan shooting stopped

After establishing his mettle as a fine director in Veyil, Vasantha Balan has moved on to his next project titled Angadi Theru with newcomer Mahesh as hero and Anjali as heroine. The film is shaping up well and Sneha is said to be doing a small cameo in the film. This film is being produced by Ayngaran International. A couple of days back, shooting of the film was

progressing in an old dilapidated house at Villivakkam where hero Mahesh was required to be having a physical duel with his friend. During the course of this action sequence he was shot coming down the steps getting drenched in the rain. When this scene was canned, much to everyone’s shock, Mahesh had a mishap when he missed a step and tumbled down in the stairs resulting in head injury with severe blood loss. He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he was treated. Shooting was cancelled at once and is said to resume on the 31st after Mahesh recovers. Wishing the young actor a speedy recovery.
