Better Kuselan - SRK or Rajini ?

Kuselan, the Tamil remake of Malayalam Katha Parayumbol is getting ready with super star in the lead role directed by P Vasu. Though Rajini has been commenting that his role is only 25% in the film, director Vasu has been modifying the Tamil script to suit the image of super star and to cater to his fans.

Previously when Then Maavin Kombathu got remade into Muthu, there were apt alterations done and a similar situation prevailed even in Chandramukhi inspired from Mani Chithirathazh.

Meanwhile director Priyadarshan is taking Katha Parayumbol to Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan doing Rajini’s role. However Priyadarshan has no plans to change the Malayalam version and is keen on retaining the original flavor unlike Kuselan. While discussing this, an experienced distributor of NSC region said that though Kuselan would definitely be a hit, Shah Rukh may sweep away with honors in terms of performance as the Hindi version is slated to play in line with the original.
