Muppozhudum Un Karpanaiyil starring Atharva and Amala Paul was in news for its unique posters, fresh casting and for the fact that Simran turned down the role of playing mother to the hero. There is now trouble for the film as director Ganesh Vinayak has been ousted from the project by the producer. Producer Kumar has stepped up to do the direction as well.
When prodded about the reason, the producer said that the director was to finish shooting in 40 days during the Bangalore schedule but the shoot went on for 45 days which resulted in misunderstandings and other trouble. Deciding not to face this again, the producer asked the director to step out and is now donning the director’s hat himself. Director Ganesh Vinayak was an associate of SJ Surya and Tharun Gopi.
