thrillers with his Thuppariyum Aanandh,
the Ajith starrer. Looking back, Tamil
cinema seems to have always had a dearth
of such movies. Today's Thursday Trivia

The Sivaji starrer Andha Naal is one of
the best and well known film-noir films
in Tamil. It also was quite ahead of its
times in the sense that it had no songs.
Kamal's Tick Tick Tick is an edge of the
