Dhanush
is playing the lead role in the Mappillai remake,
a film that was a smash hit for his real-life
pa-in-law Rajinikanth. The original version
had a mother-in-law role, which is very important
to the storyline. In fact, the entire film is
based on the clash between the mother-in-law
and the son-in-law. So far Tamil film industry
had beem concentrating in the conventional mother-in-law
image. However, Manisha Koirala is all set to
change the scenario as we hear that she will
keep with the modern image.
While late actress Sri Vidya essayed the role
to perfection in the earlier version, there
were a lot of expectations on who would bag
