It could have turned out to be a regular celebration
just like any other movie but Aadhavan’s
100th day event organizers put corporate social
responsibility in the scheme of things and the
event stood out. In these testing times of internet
and television, Aadhavan celebrated its 100th
day at the Park Sheraton this evening.
Apart from the celebrations, the event stage
also witnessed distribution of funds to the
tune of Rs. 1 lakh to welfare organizations
like Jeevan Velicham, Nambikkai, People AIDS
initiative, St. Annes and T Lokesh, a needy
engineering student.
Suriya, speaking at the event, revealed that
while others think of the God during tough times,
he tends to think of Kamal during his demanding
shoots. He also asked Kamal how he kept his
cool all the time and remained modest irrespective
of successes. Kamal, in his address, replied
that he had no special quality that Suriya’s
father cannot teach Suriya. “However,
the one thing I would like to emphasize is to
put your recent success behind you. This is
the most essential mantra,” Kamal said.
The event was attended by Nayanthara, Karthi,
Vadivelu, Sarojadevi and the other crew members
and technicians of the movie. Trophies were
also distributed to the cast and crew. |
