Aaravadu
Vanam is a film that is based on a real life
incident where an entire set of villagers vacated
their lands for a couple in love. Director Bhuvanesh
had sought permission to shoot in the village
where the incident had occurred but was denied
permission.
Unperturbed, Bhuvanesh zeroed in on Singaram
Paalayam where the villagers agreed to vacate
their lands after much persuasion, for five
days. The villagers were taken care of by AV’s
producer Thyagarajan.
This is probably the first time where an entire
village has been vacated to shoot a film. The
film has Bhooshan and Vidya in lead roles.
Apart from wielding the megaphone, Bhuvanesh
is also in charge of the story, screenplay and
dialogues |
