Freedom fighter’s grandson turns lyricist

Tarun Gopi has completed his acting commitments in Mayandi Kudumbathar, which has been directed by Rasu Madhuvaran. The actor will now move on to Kaatupayya for which he will don the greasepaint as well as the director’s cap. Kaatupayya’s shooting will begin in the month of April in Dindigul. Other details about this film are: Srikanth Deva will compose the music and Rajesh Yadav will wield the camera.

Sharing the screen space with Tarun Gopi will be Tamizh Arasi. Sources close to the film unit say that Niranjan Bharathi, the grandson of noted poet and freedom fighter Bharathiyar , will make his debut as lyricist.
