Director Radha Mohan has the reputation of churning out clean, family entertainers. His last film Abhiyum Naanum was liked by the class and the mass and many plaudits were showered upon the entire crew. Abhiyum Naanum has been remade into Telugu as Aakashamantha and the film has been lapped by the audience there. Jagapathy babu has done the role of Prithviraj in the Telugu version.

Bollywood for the remake of Mozhi to be produced by Boney Kapoor. This project is getting postponed and looks like he will soon commence his next venture in Tamil. When probed about the genre of this film, this talented young director stated that his new project will have his trademark style but laced with some kind of action, all the same with emotions as the centre stage. Announcement of this project will happen soon. Whether the film will be funded by his favorite banner Duet Films or not will be revealed shortly.
