How did Benny react to Rahman’s Oscars?

BIG FM’s Kalakkal Kaalai, the morning show that is hosted by RJ Dheena, had singer Benny Dayal performing live on air today. Benny’s visit to BIG also had another purpose – to promote the Sangarsh 2009 live concert, to be held at Anna University on March 28, 2009. Sangarsh 2009, jointly organized by Anna University, is a concert in aid of Karunai Illam, a home for orphaned children.

During his visit, Benny, apart from promoting

Sangarsh 2009, also interacted with the listeners during the program between 7 – 11 a.m. and sang a few of his favorite songs on air. Besides, Benny also stated that he was thrilled after receiving the news about Rahman’s Oscars. The singer has been a constant in most of Rahman’s recent albums.
