Richard’s thalai ezhuthu

Debutant Richard Raj will be producing and acting in a film titled Thalai ezhuthu. This film will be directed by Ethiraj and Pooja Gandhi of Thiruvannamalai and Kokki fame will be the heroine. While talking about the film, Richard says, “We all come across many physically challenged people in our life. We don’t know what’s going on in their mind. Thalai Ezhuthu is all about what if there is a software to know about their thought process”.

Richard further adds that the seed for this film was planted in New Zealand where he was running a hotel. A physically challenged person used to visit him every day and he was always accompanied by a helper who would assist him in every manner. Richard states that he used to keenly observe him, his mannerisms as he wanted to portray him in the film and then had a regular practice session on this.

According to Richard a wheel chair plays an important role in the film, where a keyboard of sorts will be placed at its foot rest through which the occupant of the wheel chair will type out information which will reach the brain and will be conveyed to the ear through a machine.

Richard’s Thalai ezhuthu will be revealed on April 14th. Music for the film is composed by Godwin, editing by Harsha, cinematography by Dominic Sayo and lyrics by Priyan Jagan.
