Naan Avanillai 2: Jeevan back as Casanova

Nothing succeeds like success. So, the team of the 2007 hit Naan Avanillai is getting back once again for a sequel, which will also be called Naan Avanillai. The Naan Avanillai of 2007 itself was a remake of an old Gemini Ganesan starrer, the sequel will, however, will be an original script.

Since Naan Avanillai-2007, neither Jeevan nor director Selva has had much luck at the box office. Jeevan’s Machchakaran and Thotta have met with lukewarm

receptions; Selva himself was the director of Machakaran. The sequel now planned will have debutante Hema Malini playing one of the heroines. Newly married actress Sangeetha too has been signed on for one of the heroine slots. The number of heroines and the actresses playing them has not yet been confirmed. Nemichand Jhabak, producer of Naan Avanillai 2007 is the one involved this time too.
