Lakshmi Rai walks the ramp for CavinKare

The 7th annual CavinKare Ability awards ceremony was held today at Sri Mutha Venkatasubba Rao hall in Chennai. The awards ceremony is an annual event conducted by Cavinkare to honour achievers with disabilities. The awards ceremony is an effort towards raising awareness of the need for an inclusive society.

The Awards ceremony was preceded by a press conference at the Lady Andal school. A fashion show

was also held at the event. Actress Lakshmi Rai walked the ramp during the show. Other celebrities who attended the function were directors Dharani and Radha Mohan. The function was presided by CavinKare head Renganathan who also presented the awards to the winners.
