Peraanmai tiff intensifies

The Jananathan and Vasundhara issue has taken a new angle as the director of the film ‘Peraanmai’ has gone to the directors’ guild complaining about one of the heroines in his film, Vasundhara of Jayamkondaan fame. In his complaint, the director has stated that Vasundhara and other four lead ladies in the film were asked to stay at a star hotel in Tirupati as the shooting was to be held at Thalakkonam. But the final five days which were considered crucial and for administrative reasons, these lead ladies were

asked to stay at a Guest Bungalow at Thalakkonam, where many popular stars have stayed in the past. While others agreed, Vasundhara denied and left the spot following a tiff with the director. The shooting of the climax has come to a stand still resulting in a huge loss of several lakhs, states the director. He complained that apart from leaving the shooting spot uninformed, Vasundhara was indulging in cheap publicity causing damage to his reputation. He has requested the members of the guild to take appropriate action against the actor.
