Pappara Mittai: free for children

The days are gone when either parents or grandparents used to find time to narrate stories to children. Also gone are the days when children used to enjoy listening to stories, they have now found new forms of amusements like the video game, TV and the internet, story telling has all but vanished. Another reality is that children also do not have the patience to listen to something from their parents or elders at home. With all these obstacles, children ultimately fail to learn some pivotal principles of life that have always been best narrated in the form of stories.

Keeping this present day issue in mind, the Kalanjiam Trust has come out with an audio CD which has stories being narrated for children. The highlight of the audio CD is that the narrators are children themselves. This special CD of "children telling stories for children" is the second part of a series, the first of which had been released a year ago. The narration being set in a musical pattern is an added attraction to listeners. This album was released recently with the entire cost of bringing out the CD format being borne by the Maithreyi Educational Trust and the SBI, a great support to the creators, the Kalanjiam Trustees. Pappara Mittai- Part II, a need of the hour venture, indeed.
