Seeman for the cause of LTTE

Prabhakaran is the name of a Sinhalese film directed by Peris, a Srilankan film maker. It has been reported that the film deals with the trials and tribulations of children who are forcibly drawn into LTTE organization much against their wishes. Recently Perish was at Gemini Labs to develop prints for this film. Having come to understand this,

Suba Veera Pandian and director Seeman who are supporters of LTTE outfit along with some of their followers had congregated in front of Gemini Labs and protested saying that they should not allow Peris to develop the prints for the film which has supposedly misinterpreted the cause of the Tamils. There were also attempts to attack the film maker and the crowd dispersed after the intervention of police. In the end, it was decided that film will be screened for PMK leader Ramadoss and Viduthalai Chiruthai leader Thol. Thirumavalavan and if they found no disagreeable content, the filmmaker may be allowed to develop prints.
