K V Anand explains Ayan

The coming together of cinematographer turned director K V Anand, Surya and A V M films for Ayan has amplified the expectations of the movie manifold. Generally to arrive at the right title in itself would take some time and when the name of Ayan was finalized, everyone associated with the film was very happy. Though Ayan sounds very different from the usual title, it is also simple to pronounce.

When director Anand was asked for his sound byte on Ayan, he said, “Ayan is another name of the creator God Brahma. My hero Surya will be showcased in four different stages in his life and will sport four different get ups just like the four faces of Brahma”. He also added that Ayan is sure to be a milestone in Surya’s career.
