Director
Viji has confessed that he likes wielding
the megaphone rather than penning
dialogues. His Vellithirai with Prakashraj
and Prithviraj in lead roles has received
reasonably good reception. However,
the director has admitted that it
did not find acceptance in the B and
C centers -not because they were unable
to relate to the story but because
this was the exam season.
On his future project Viji said that he
would arrive at a decision in a week or
so. He would rather not remake a film, he
said, but pen an original script. The actors
will be finalized soon, based on the roles
that are on offer, added Viji.
