Director Samy plight seems to be very strange. This talented director has already directed two films – Mirugam and Uyir – to his credit. He has the story and screenplay for his next venture ready. And no! He is not looking for a producer. The director has managed to get one too. Then what could be the reason behind the delay?

It is the ban imposed on him by the Producers’ Council from directing films for one year. Samy was banned for slapping actress Padmapriya during a shooting. With the one year not over yet he can do nothing but wait patiently. Meanwhile, it looks like Samy would plead with the Producers’ Council to lift the ban.
