Kanthaswamy next only to Sivaji

The market for Tamil films in Kerala has become very promising and encouraging as there is a big fan following for Tamil films there. Kanthaswamy, the big budgeted film directed by Susi Ganesan with Vikram and Shriya in lead roles will be ready for a May release.

Trade circles aver that Kanthaswamy has been sold for 2 crores in Kerala. Sibu who distributed films like Pokkiri and Anniyan has bought the rights for this Vikram’s film too. Earlier Vijay’s Kuruvi was sold for 1.4 crores and as on date Sivaji is the highest paid film at a staggering amount of 2.5 crores.
