Singakutty strikes panic in temple

Singakutty, a film in which Jr. Sivaji stars, is progressing well. Its shooting was held in Thiruvidaimaruthur at the Mahalingar Kovil. Thiruvaduthurai Aadhinam owns the temple.

The crew shot a few scenes in this location, which also included a bomb exploding sequence. Unfortunately,

the unit failed to clean up the place and remove the debris from the fake explosions. On noticing a bomb-like particle, people visiting the temple panicked. The entire area was cordoned off as a security measure until it was discovered that the bomb belonged to the film unit. Though the issue ended on a happy note, there were some murmurs in the crowd that the unit could be sued for having created so much panic and alarm.
