An actor’s Oru Thalai Kadhal

Vijaya T. Rajendar is well known in the Tamil film industry for erecting very expensive sets in his films. But it looks like all that has now undergone a sea change. Speaking about his forthcoming venture, Oru Thalai Kadhal, he said that it would be shot entirely in the villages surrounding Madurai sans any sets.

Lakshmi Movie Makers will produce Oru Thalai Kadhal and T. Rajendar, apart from wielding the megaphone and acting will also take care of the story, screenplay, dialogues, songs, music and cinematography. As the story revolves around Madurai, his character in this film requires him to speak in the Madurai dialect. Oru Thalai Kadhal will also give Kollywood two new heroines. According to him, Ameer’s Paruthiveeran is a source of inspiration for this film. Expected to commence on April 18th, 2008, Oru Thalai Kadhal will hit the screens by the end of this year.
