Helicom to monitor hero’s movements

Indian film industry especially Kollywood has been lapping up the latest innovations in film making and this has been evident in many of their ventures. The art of cinematography itself has undergone a sea change and the varied techniques that are presently used are testimony to the advancements in the field. Peraanmai is an upcoming film which is going to be benefited by the use of one such technique.

This film being directed by Iyarkai fame Jananadan has Jeyam Ravi as hero and produced by Ayngaran International. The use of helicom will come in very handy in Peraanmai where sequences in dense jungles covered with thick vegetation are required to be captured. When hero Jeyam Ravi will run through impenetrable forest covered with thorns and shrubs, it is difficult to capture his movement with a steady cam. Hence to overcome this issue, a camera attached to a helicopter will move overhead along with the hero and capture his path while the movement and angle of the helicom can be controlled by a remote control. Further on, these scenes can be viewed in a monitor and can be adjusted.
