Monica turns glamorous

From the production house of ‘G’ comes their maiden venture Silandhi with many young talents both behind and in front of the camera. Debutant Aathi who has a rich experience of being a film and political journalist for 13 years will be calling the shots while Munna who is the nephew of veteran artist Jaya Bharathi and who has acted with leading heroines in Malayalam films plays the hero in Silandhi. Monica of Azhagi fame will

be his love interest. It has been claimed that Monica had shed her inhibitions and appears very bold and glamorous in the film.

While talking about his film director Aathi says, “Most films commence with people falling in love, their struggles during love and end with the happy union of the pair. But Silandhi begins where other films end. It captures the life of people after marriage and the struggles that confront them in real life.”

Fousia Pathima is responsible for cinematography, while Sathish Kurosawa takes care of editing. Neel Mukherjee who has worked with A R Rahman, Harris Jeyaraj and Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for Silandhi.
