Challenging
this, Raj Mohan had filed a petition stating
that if his sister was declared bankrupt,
there is a danger of her losing her MP post.
This case came up for hearing before judge
Ramasubramanian. Senior advocate Muthukumaraswamy
who appeared on behalf of Jayapradha had
submitted DDs to the tune of 23.40 Lakhs
in addition to 2.05 Lakhs for sales tax
in the court. Now that the dues have been
cleared, judge declared the actress and
her brother as not bankrupt.
