A cultural fest, which
will feature Vairamuthu’s selected Tamil
songs, will be organized in Sydney and Melbourne
in Australia. The poet and lyricist had penned
over 7000 songs so far and the selected songs,
penned purely in Tamil, will be sung by noted
singers in the event. Forty songs have been
selected and it will be sung by Mano, Sujatha,
Unnikrishnan and Shwetha Menon, we hear.
In Sydney, the event will take place on
July 3rd at 7 pm and in Melbourne it will
take place on July 4th at 6 pm.
Comedian Vivek will perform a skit Vairamuthuvin
Rasigan during this cultural fest. The proceeds
from this event will be used for the welfare
of Sri Lankan Tamil kids.
