Nadigar Sangam has issued
a warning to Genelia, Anushka, Sameera Reddy,
Kajal Agarwal, Hansika Motwani and a host
of other actresses who did not register at
the Sangam till date. In a letter to these
actresses, the President of the Sangam, Sarath
Kumar and General Secretary Radha Ravi stated
that they should become a member soon or face
a ban in Kollywood.
It has been reported that some members of
the Nadigar Sangam visited the Uttama Puthiran
shooting spot where scenes involving Genelia
were being shot and demanded that she register
as a member to continue acting in Tamil films.
The actress is reported to have acceded to
this demand. It needs to be seen what the
other leading ladies will do.
