| The
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s
birthday was celebrated with much fanfare by
the Tamil film industry. To mark his birthday,
Pen Singam, a movie which is based on a novel
penned by him years ago, was released. Karunanidhi
had penned the dialogues for this movie.
Pen Singam was released worldwide yesterday
and this was celebrated at the AVM Rajeswari
Theatre in Vadapalani.
The Producer’s Council President Rama
Narayanan, FEFSI Chairman VC Guhanathan, Pen
Singam’s director Bali Srirengam, Sivashakthi
Pandian, Anbalaya K Prabhakaran, Thenappan,
Janakiraman, Yaar Kannan, Shamugasundaram,
Vel, Diamond Babu, Madurai Selvam, Glamour
Sathya and others were present at the theatre
to distribute cakes, sweets, flowers and chocolates
to the audience.
