When news started doing
rounds that Hrithik Roshan is taking part
in the IIFA, which is being held in Sri Lanka,
the Tamil film fraternity immediately decided
not to screen his recently released Kites
in Tamil Nadu. The film had been running successfully
in four theatres in Chennai but the shows
were cancelled when the Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam
staged a protest.
Kites is touted to have the largest collection
at the office and trade pundits predicted
that it would be greater success than 3 Idiots.
The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Barbara
Mori.
