The inaugural function of the film
Nee Indri Naan Illai was held at
the AVM Studios on Sunday (June
28th). This project, which is the
brainchild of the Tamil Nadu Chief
Minister M Karunanidhi, was well
attended by the film fraternity.
Speaking at the event, actor Vivek
remarked that the CM is equivalent
to a government officer and enjoys
all the benefits available to them,
however, the CM should not ask for
retirement benefits, as he is not
eligible for retirement forever.
The comedian added that the film
fraternity would file a suit against
him if he intends to resign.
Kamal Haasan said that while he
was on a foreign tour, he wished
to purchase a special pen for the
CM. But after considering it for
a while he decided that Kalaignar
did not need pens to write but his
intellect matters the most.
Suriya was amazed that the Kalaignar
could work for 16 hours even at
this age.
