Vijay’s 50th film director finalized?

Here is the latest update on the talk of the town – Vijay’s 50th film. Though Vijay is still busy with his Vettaikaran, his fans are keen to know more about this next venture, which is his landmark film.

Vijay had mentioned in a recent press conference that Sangili Murugan will produce the venture. But there was no news about the director. Vijay and Sangili Murugan are discussing various options available to them and two names that are constantly coming up for consideration are KV Anand and SP Rajkumar.

SP Rajkumar has Ponmanam to his credit and is currently busy with Azhagar Malai. The buzz in Kollywood is that he could pen the story for Vijay’s film and direct it as well. Tammanna is touted to play the female lead. Sources say the film could be titled Urimai Kural.
