P. Vasu family’s third generation connection

Director P. Vasu’s father Peethambaram was a make up artiste. He was in fact the lead make up man for Enga Veetu Pillai, which was produced by well-known producer Nagi Reddy. Nearly a decade later, when Nagi Reddy’s son Viswanatha Reddy produced the film Uzhaipali he promptly signed up P. Vasu, who by then reached

the well-established director status. Producer Viswanatha Reddy, after a long gap, has now decided to produce yet another film and has roped in P. Vasu’s son Shakthi for the lead role. It is interesting indeed that three generations of a family have worked with Nagi Reddy’s family. Shakthi’s present project includes Ninaithale Inikkum.
