A pleasant surprise for Vasantha Balan

Director Vasantha Balan was in for pleasant surprise and so was the producer Ayngaran International. It is quite common in film circles for rain to play spoilsport while shooting. Also, time and again many costly sets have turned into damp squibs. But this time around the rain god has indeed helped Vasantha Balan and Co in shooting a scene for Angadi

Theru. The director was in fact gearing up to shoot a scene on a slushy road and made all arrangements to create an artificial swamp. But the unexpected rains, which lashed the city that night, left the roads as swampy as the director wanted it to be. A happy Vasantha Balan grabbed the opportunity and shot the scenes immediately. Angadi Theru features a new face Mahesh along with Kattradhu Thamizh fame Anjali in the lead. Interestingly, poet Vikramadityan, for the first time, plays the heroine's father in Angadi Theru.
