Padmapriya committed; photo-shoot completed

Cheran, the talented director cum actor had taken a temporary sabbatical from wielding the megaphone after Mayakannadi. He subsequently started concentrating on acting and completed Karu Pazhaniappan’s Pirivom Sandippom and is currently working in Raman Thediya Seethai. However Pokkisham is a project which he

had conceived even before Mayakannadi. Now that his portion in Raman Thediya Seethai is over, he has decided to reopen Pokkisham.

The film is scheduled to go on floors on the 27th of June and the Thavamai Thavamirundhu pair of Cheran and Padmapriya would come together once again to cast their magical spell on the audience. Photo session of Pokkisham was completed recently. Shooting is said to take place for the first ten days at Chennai after which the venue will get shifted to Mumbai. Music will be scored by Sabesh-Murali. As is the case with all of Cheran’s films, Pokkisham is also expected to deal with finer human emotions.
