Indian teaming up with Spielberg

Anil Ambani, Chairman of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (ADA) group and the world’s 6th richest billionaire entered the Indian entertainment business by taking over Adlabs which is involved in production and distribution of films. Now as per some of the reports published in certain sections of the media, this astute businessman is reported to

have struck a deal with Steven Spielberg (DreamWorks) of Saving Private Ryan and Schindler’s List fame. According to this, ADA and DreamWorks will float a new firm which would be involved in the production of at least 6 films a year. Trade avers that this coalition would help ADA set foot in Hollywood.
