Vishali Kannadasan has penned the lyrics
for Sangeetha starrer Dhanam. The song beginning
with the words “Kannukku Enna Vendum”
is set to tune by Ilayaraja and sung by
his daughter Bavatharini. The maestro has
composed the music for this film within
three hours.
Barathiraja’s dream project Kuttraparambarai
has commenced with Ameer in the lead role.
Other details regarding this film will be
announced after the release of Bommalattam.
Tarun Gopi’s current project Kaatupayya
is being directed by Ilankannan of Ottran
fame. The story was actually made for Ravi
Krishna but he refused to star in it and
eventually Tarun bagged the role.
Bhavana’s stage fear forbade her
from participating in functions thus far.
The lady finally seems to have overcome
this and participated in Jayamkondan’s
audio release function.
Sarathkumar has appealed to all the Tamil
actors and actresses to speak in Tamil during
