Maddy is no longer a chocolate boy!

The chocolate boy of Tamil cinema just turned a year older yesterday. Madhavan, fondly addressed by his fans and friends as Maddy, turned 38. Marking his entry in Tamil cinema with the Mani Ratnam directed Alaipayuthey, Maddy carved a niche for himself in Kollywood without getting typecast in any image circle – although predominantly addressed

as a romantic hero, the name mostly attributed to his looks. His birthday was largely a private affair and his friends and well-wishers from Kollywood wished him on the occasion.

That apart, Maestro Ilayaraja celebrates his 65th birthday today. Behindwoods wishes the Maestro and Madhavan on their birthday.
